By accessing or using the Renttix website (www.renttix.com) and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services.
Description of Service
Renttix provides a cloud-based rental management platform designed for equipment, vehicle, event, and multi-location rental businesses. Our services include but are not limited to: quote and contract management, dispatch and scheduling, invoicing and payment processing, asset tracking, maintenance management, and accounting integrations.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our services at any time.
Account Registration
To access certain features of our platform, you may be required to create an account. You agree to:
Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. Maintain and update your account information. Keep your password secure and confidential. Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
Free Trial
We may offer a free trial period for new users. During the trial period, you will have access to the platform features as described at the time of registration. At the end of the trial period, your access will convert to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial expires.
No credit card is required to start a free trial unless otherwise stated.
Payment Terms
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis depending on the plan selected. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated or required by applicable law.
Prices are displayed in your local currency based on your geographic location. The actual billing currency and amount will be confirmed at checkout.
We reserve the right to change our pricing with 30 days notice to existing customers.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use our services to:
Violate any applicable laws or regulations. Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others. Transmit malicious code, spam, or harmful content. Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' accounts. Use the services for any purpose other than legitimate rental business management.
Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the Renttix website and platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, software, and the overall design, are the exclusive property of Renttix and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any part of our website or platform without our express written permission.
Data Ownership
You retain ownership of all data you upload to or create within the Renttix platform. We do not claim ownership of your business data, customer records, contracts, invoices, or any other content you store in the system.
You grant us a limited licence to process, store, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing our services to you.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Renttix shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of our services.
Our total liability for any claims arising under these terms shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Termination
Either party may terminate the subscription at any time. Upon termination:
Your access to the platform will be revoked at the end of your current billing period. You may request an export of your data within 30 days of termination. We will delete your data within 90 days of termination unless required to retain it by law.
Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notifying you by email.
Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
