Renttix ships inspection regimes as regional presets — pick the ones that apply to your market and your equipment, and the platform knows each regime's intervals and expectations without you building them from scratch. Custom inspection types cover the regimes and internal standards the presets do not.

Every asset carries its inspection history: what was tested, when, by whom, and the certificate that proves it. Certificates are stored against the inspection, retrievable in seconds when a customer's safety officer asks — and they do ask.

Existing records can be imported, so adopting the system does not mean losing ten years of test history.

Compliance fails quietly. Nothing announces that a certificate lapsed on Tuesday — until the machine is on a customer site and the question arrives with consequences attached.

Renttix surfaces what is due before it is overdue. The due list shows every asset approaching or past its inspection date, so testing is planned work rather than a scramble.

More importantly, compliance connects to booking. Assets with lapsed requirements can warn — or hard-block — when someone tries to book them out, depending on how strict you configure each regime. Vehicle checks follow the same philosophy: start-of-day inspections can be required before drivers open their jobs, enforced by the platform rather than the depot whiteboard.

Handover policies define what proof must be captured for equipment to change hands — signatures, photos, meter readings — and the platform enforces the policy at the point of handover. When the dispute comes, your file is already assembled.
