Renttix publishes an RFC 5545 iCalendar feed of your upcoming dispatch jobs. You copy the generated feed URL once and subscribe to it from Google Calendar, Outlook, Apple Calendar, or any application that speaks iCal. The calendar application refreshes it on its own schedule from then on. Be clear about what this is: a one-way subscription, not a two-way sync. Renttix publishes the schedule and your calendar reads it. Editing an event in your calendar does not change anything in Renttix — the operational record stays in one place, which is deliberate. Each feed URL contains its own token, and there is a rotate action that invalidates the old URL and issues a new one. That is what to use when someone leaves or a URL has been shared more widely than intended, since anyone holding the URL can read the feed.
Why it matters
Most of the people who need to know what is happening tomorrow do not need a login to your rental system. A depot manager, a yard supervisor, an owner glancing at the week — they need visibility, not an account and a password to forget. A calendar subscription gives exactly that, in the application they already have open.
