Write actions — the ones that change data — are separated from reads and gated by role, so you decide exactly how much the assistant is allowed to do for each kind of user.
Every action is audit-logged with who asked, what was requested, and what was returned. Administrators hold a kill switch that disables the assistant instantly, workspace-wide, if you ever want it off.
Some data is excluded by design rather than by role. Employment records — staff hours, timesheets, holiday requests — are not available to the assistant at all, for any user, at any permission level.
