Renttix + ABSS Integration
Export hire sales from Renttix in the format ABSS Premier and ABSS Accounting import directly — built for Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong hire businesses.

How it connects
ABSS imports tab-delimited text files rather than exposing a live API, so Renttix produces exactly that. You generate a sales export for the period you want and import it into your company file — there is no connection to authorise and no credentials to store.
Renttix emits the "Sales (Service)" layout deliberately. That format does not require a pre-existing item master file, because every line is a free-text service line. It means the export works against your company file however you have configured it, without you first building an item list that mirrors your hire catalogue.

Why it matters
ABSS is widely used across Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong, and it is a desktop-era product without the live API that cloud accounting packages offer. The practical consequence is that most operational systems simply ignore it, leaving the finance team to re-enter sales by hand.
Re-entry is where rental businesses lose accuracy, because the volume is high and repetitive. A weekly hire contract generates the same invoice again and again, and manual entry of near-identical lines is exactly the task humans do worst. Producing a file the accounting package accepts directly removes the typing without asking anyone to change accounting system.
Key workflows
Period sales export
Generate hire sales for a chosen period as a tab-delimited file that ABSS Premier or ABSS Accounting imports directly, instead of re-keying invoices into the company file.
No item master required
The export uses the "Sales (Service)" layout, where every line is a free-text service line. That means it imports against your existing company file without you first building an item list mirroring your hire catalogue.
Nothing to connect
Because ABSS imports files rather than exposing an API, there are no credentials to store and no authorisation to maintain — you generate the file when you need it.
ABSS is the South-East Asia desktop-accounting option among the seven accounting connections in Renttix, alongside Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, Zoho, MYOB and Tally. For tenants in the same markets it pairs naturally with Xendit for collection.

Is this a live connection or a file export?
A file export. ABSS imports tab-delimited text files rather than offering a live API, so Renttix generates a file in the format ABSS reads. There are no credentials to store and nothing to keep authorised.
Do I need to set up items in ABSS to match my hire catalogue?
No. Renttix emits the "Sales (Service)" layout, in which every line is a free-text service line. That avoids requiring a pre-existing item master file, so the import works whatever your company file setup.
Which ABSS products does it support?
ABSS Premier and ABSS Accounting — the products formerly sold as MYOB in Asia — as used by tenants across Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong.
