A workspace that fits the person using it
Your team spends the whole day in this software, and small frictions add up. Renttix removes the biggest one first: finding things. Global search covers customers, orders, invoices, products, and assets from a single box, scoped to your business — type an order number, a company name, a barcode, or an asset number and go straight to the record. Asset results include where the asset is right now and which order and customer hold it, which answers the most common radio call in the industry.
The workspace itself is arranged per person, not per licence. The sidebar reorders by drag and drop, so the modules a hire desk lives in sit at the top and the ones they touch monthly stay out of the way. Light and dark themes, adjustable text size, and accessibility preferences — high contrast, reduced motion, screen-reader optimisation — are individual settings, because the person on the counter at seven in the morning and the accountant at month-end do not want the same screen.
Underneath it, screens update in real time over a live connection. When a hire agreement is signed, a dispatch job changes hands, or a notification lands, the screens showing that work — the order list, the dispatch board, the fleet map — update without a refresh, so nobody works from a view that went stale ten minutes ago.
And when someone is stuck, help lives inside the product. A searchable in-app help centre organises guides into eight categories — from orders and invoicing to dispatch, integrations and setup — so the answer to 'how do I…' does not require a support ticket or a colleague's memory.
Global by design, down to the words you use
Rental is a global industry, and Renttix is built as a global platform rather than translated as an afterthought. Each user picks their own interface language — English in British and American variants, German, Spanish, French, or Hindi — so a business with a depot in Lyon and an office in Delhi runs one system, not one per country.
Regional presets take the setup burden off compliance. Inspection and test regimes come pre-built for the UK, US, EU, and Australia and New Zealand, and overtime policy is seeded from regional presets too — a starting point that matches how your region actually works, which you adjust rather than assemble from a blank form.
Then there is the vocabulary. Every hire business has its own words — plant, kit, contracts, agreements — and software that insists on its own terms always reads like someone else's system. Renttix lets you rename the core terminology: customer, order, product, quote, hire agreement, delivery note, invoice, and the rest. The renamed terms flow through every screen and into generated documents, so the system speaks the language your team and your customers already use.
Straight dealing, on the record
Your workspace is recognisably yours from day one. Every business gets its own workspace address — your company name in the URL — with a login page of its own behind it, so your team signs in at a door with your name on it rather than a generic portal.
The trial behaves the way you would want a supplier's trial to behave. With a card on file, you get a warning email three days before the end, and the subscription converts when the trial closes — you are told it has. If a charge fails, Renttix retries for up to seven days before anything expires, with an email at every step. No silent conversions, no quiet lockouts.
Loyalty runs in both directions on this platform. Sign up with a referral code from an existing Renttix business and the referral is recorded against your account, with a one-time referral reward per referral — and anniversary discounts, tiered by years on the platform, recognise the businesses that stay.
The same instinct for records extends to your own customers. When a customer accepts terms and conditions, a hire agreement, or a damage waiver against a quote or an order, Renttix stores a first-class acceptance record — who accepted, when, in what role, and a cryptographic fingerprint of the exact document version they saw, with dedicated general terms and privacy statement pages for them to read. E-signature captures the drawn signature; acceptance records make 'they agreed to the terms' something you can produce, not something you recall.

Workspace and platform FAQ
Each user chooses their own interface language — English in British or American variants, German, Spanish, French, or Hindi. Language is an individual setting rather than a workspace-wide one, and terminology customisation works alongside whichever language is chosen.
Yes. Core terms — customer, order, product, quote, hire agreement, delivery note, invoice, and more — can be renamed in system setup, and the new names flow through every screen and into generated documents.
With a card on file, you receive a warning email three days before the end and the subscription converts when the trial closes. If a charge fails, Renttix retries for up to seven days before the account expires — with an email at each step, so nothing converts or expires silently.
Yes. Renttix runs a loyalty programme for its own customers: registration accepts a referral code when you sign up, each referral is recorded with a one-time referral reward, and anniversary discounts — tiered by years on the platform — recognise long-standing customers.
