Renttix for portable power and battery storage rental businesses
Rental management for businesses renting out battery energy storage systems to construction sites, events and off-grid projects.
Portable power and battery storage rental is a newer, lower-emission alternative to diesel generator rental, used on construction sites, at events and for off-grid power. Units are high-value and often stay on a single site for weeks or months, running up a long-term rental that needs accurate billing throughout. Renttix keeps your fleet, billing and maintenance records in one place, so long-running site rentals are invoiced correctly and every unit stays serviceable between jobs.
Common challenges in battery storage rental
Billing long-running site rentals accurately
Battery storage units often stay on one site for weeks or months, and manual invoicing makes partial-period charges at the start and end of a rental, and off-rental periods, easy to miscalculate or miss.
Tracking high-value units across a growing fleet
Battery storage units are expensive assets, and without an individual record for each one, you cannot easily see which specific unit is on which site, what it has been used for, or when it last needed attention.
Keeping units serviceable between long rentals
Batteries need periodic checks to stay reliable, and a unit that goes back out on rental without a completed service check can fail on site.
How Renttix helps
Recurring billing for long-running rentals
Bills an ongoing battery storage rental automatically on a recurring cycle, with accurate partial-period and off-rental charges as a unit goes on and off site.
Full history on every individual unit
Track a serialized battery storage unit's complete history — usage, service record and where it has been — so you always know the status of every unit in your fleet.
Maintenance scheduling by usage or time
Schedule servicing by usage or time interval and hold a unit off-rental until the check is logged as complete, so nothing goes out unserviced.

Frequently asked questions
Can Renttix bill long-running battery storage rentals automatically?
Yes. Renttix bills an ongoing rental automatically on a recurring cycle, with accurate partial-period charges when a rental starts or ends partway through a billing period, and correct off-rental charges once a unit comes back. That means long site rentals are invoiced correctly without manual tracking.
Can Renttix track individual battery storage units?
Yes. Renttix tracks each serialized unit individually, recording its usage, service history and where it has been. As your fleet grows, you can see the complete history of any specific unit rather than treating identical units as interchangeable.
Does Renttix help schedule servicing for battery storage units?
Yes. You can schedule servicing by usage or time interval, and Renttix holds the unit off-rental until the check is logged as complete. This stops a unit going back out on rental without the service it needs.
Can Renttix manage a growing battery storage fleet?
Yes. Renttix combines individual unit history, maintenance scheduling and recurring billing in one system, so as your fleet of battery storage units grows, every unit's usage, service record and billing stay accurate and easy to find.
