Counter and branch workflows

In-person agreements and payments

When a customer is at the counter, you need to handle agreements and payments on the spot. Asking them to check their email for a signing link or pay online later defeats the purpose of the walk-in experience.

The desktop app supports in-person agreement signing directly on screen. The rental agreement is generated from the order data, displayed on a secondary screen or tablet, and the customer signs with a finger or stylus. The signed agreement is stored against the order immediately — no paper, no scanning, no filing.

Payment collection at the counter handles deposits and full payments. Your team can take card payments through the connected terminal, record cash payments, or note that the customer is on account terms. The payment is recorded against the order in real time, so the financial record is complete from the moment the customer leaves the counter.

Deposit collection works the same way. When your terms require a deposit before equipment leaves the premises, it is collected and recorded at the point of hire. The deposit is tracked through the life of the order and offset or returned at the end of the hire period.

Customer records are shared across the platform. If a customer who normally orders by phone walks into a branch, the counter staff can see their full history — previous hires, payment terms, outstanding balances, signed agreements. The customer does not need to re-register or provide details that the business already has.
